Over the past few weeks we've gathered up details on a number of high-profile devices that Verizon's got coming down the pipe soon, including the Galaxy Nexus, DROID 4, white DROID RAZR, and DROID Xyboard. However, the release dates of those devices have remained a bit of a mystery because, as we always say, launch dates of unannounced devices can and often do change (I'm looking at you, GalNex). Tonight we've got a fresh list of rumored release dates for the aforementioned quartet of Verizon-bound products to add to the pile. According to the folks at Droid-Life, here's what Big Red's latest December release schedule might look like:
Obviously the one that catches your eye is the December 9th date for the Galaxy Nexus, which is a day later than the previous rumor claimed. We won't know for sure which (if either) is correct until Verizon comes forward with the goods, but Droid-Life mentions that the 12/9 date was passed along today by two sources that've been "spot on in the past." Releasing the GalNex on Friday the 9th (and the Xyboards on Monday the 12th) would break from Verizon's well-known habit of launching products on Thursdays, but Big Red did release the DROID RAZR on a Friday and the Rezound on the following Monday last month, so anything is possible. For now just remember to keep your salt shaker handy and, if you're waiting for one of the above devices, maybe keep your calendar open on its corresponding date.
