It was exactly one month ago that we got our first peek at the Motorola DROID 4 and its RAZR-like form factor, but in those four-ish weeks we've seen just about every aspect of the DROID 4 leak out to the Web, including a full spec sheet and even a release date. Of course, no round of phone leaks would be complete without the emergence of some official press renders, and today that's precisely what we've got. Up above you can see a pair of images showing off the DROID 4's five-row edge-lit keyboard as well as the same DROID eye that we've seen on the last couple Moto DROID handsets. Below is another pair of renders showing the face and backside of a closed D4, looking quite a bit like its QWERTY-less DROID RAZR brother.
It's kind of crazy to think about how quickly all of this DROID 4 information has come out in the past month, and some might say that it's even crazier that Motorola and Verizon are planning to launch the D4 just 5 months after the DROID 3 made its retail debut. Still, for folks that are in the market for a new 4G LTE smartphone and can't function without a physical keyboard, the DROID 4 could be a nice holiday surprise if it does end up making its rumored December 8th launch.
