If you've been waiting patiently for Verizon, Samsung, Google, or anyone else to come forward with some official launch information on the Galaxy Nexus, rest assured that you're not alone. Unfortunately, a new rumor has emerged claiming that Verizon's Galaxy Nexus might end up missing its rumored November launch, instead coming sometime in December. That's the word from @P3Droid, who's been the source of a few accurate leaks in the past. A follow-up tweet from P3Droid added the explanation that the Nexus "needs a little more baking," suggesting that there were a few last-minute bugs that needed to be worked out. The folks at Droid-Life chimed in with their own details, saying that although they were unable to confirm the rumor, Verizon's in-store marketing calendars for the rest of November make no mention of the Nexus.
These reports are definitely a bit of a bummer, especially considering that the most recent Nexus release rumor had pegged the device with a possible launch date of November 21st. Of course, this is still very much a rumor at this point, so I wouldn't go getting worked up just yet. And even if the Verizon Galaxy Nexus is pushed to December, at least we'll be able to ogle all of the photos and videos of the device that are sure to surface after it launches in Europe next week. So at least there's that. We'll keep our ears to the ground and let you know when we hear more.
