Late last week Google sent out invites to an event with the title "These Go to Eleven," and rumors spread that the focus of the shindig could be Google's long-rumored music store. Today those rumors gained a bit of steam, as T-Mobile sent out invites for a party going down after Google's gathering that'll feature appearances by musicians like Drake, Maroon 5, Busta Rhymes, Dirty South, and R3hab.
Google's original invitations had a small reference to T-Mobile at the bottom, but it's interesting to see that the folks at Magenta are hosting an after party later in the evening. It's still not totally clear what role T-Mobile might play in the festivities, though the speculation so far has included the possibility of T-Mo having some sort of exclusive on Google's music shop all the way to some sort of hardware announcements. I'm not sure that I'd hold my breath for any of the rumors just yet, but hey, the good news is that the event is going down this Wednesday, so we don't have to wait much longer to find out exactly what Google has up its sleeve. More as we get it!
