A quick PSA for all you Verizon customers: it looks like Big Red recently made a few changes to its privacy policy that you may want to be aware of. The gist of the changes is that Verizon will begin tracking your mobile browsing habits and location information so that it can "create business and market reports" and "make mobile ads you see more relevant." Of course, Verizon promises that all of this data will be shared in a way that doesn't personally identify you, but if you'd rather not take its word on that, you can point your cursor here and opt out completely.
It's kind of a bummer — but also not totally shocking —that Verizon automatically opts customers in to its new privacy policy, but I'm glad to see the carrier being up fairly front about the change and making the opt out process a simple affair.
