Hey Sprint-sters, how would you like another peek at the LG Marquee? Good, because that's precisely what we've got for you. The folks over at Pocketnow have procured a set of the Marquee's press images and, like we pointed out last week, the phone looks an awful lot like the LG Optimus Black. However, Sprint couldn't help itself from making a few small changes, the most obvious of which is the gray pinstripe backside. Pretty stylish. The front of the phone also shows a fairly vanilla-looking (save for the Sprint ID icon in the dock) build of Android 2.3, which differs from the skinned version of Android found on the original Optimus Black.
For all of you spec hounds out there, the Optimus Black features a 4-inch 800x480 NOVA display, 1GHz single-core processor, 5-megapixel camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 512MB RAM, and a 1,500mAh battery. As long as those specs remain the same on the Marquee, expect it to slide right into Sprint's mid-range lineup. When might that happen, you ask? According to a leaked Sprint roadmap, the Marquee could launch as soon as October 2nd. Anyone thinking about picking one up?
