The Motorola DROID Bionic has been hogging most of the Verizon LTE-related headlines as of late, but now it's time for another handset to get some time in the spotlight. Which device is going to get some time in the sun? Why, it's the Pantech Breakout! As you can see in the image above, specs for the Breakout include a 4-inch 800x480 display, 1GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera, VGA front-facing shooter, 390MB of internal storage, 512MB RAM, 8GB microSD card preinstalled, LTE connectivity, and Android 2.3 beneath a "Pantech UI." There's no mention of a release date on this document, but a previous leak pegged the Breakout with a September 1st launch.
Pantech's Breakout may be more of a mid-range handset, at least compared to some of the other high-end Android phones on the market, but we're just glad to see another LTE smartphone making its way to the market (if these specs hold true, that is). If the Breakout is indeed coming on September 1st, aka next Thursday, we should hear something official from Verizon on Tuesday or Wedneday. Stay tuned!
