Exciting news for folks waiting for the HTC Vigor: the Verizon-bound handset has earned its Wi-Fi and Bluetooth certifications. As you can see above and below, the Vigor, aka ADR6425LVW, has been given the A-OK by both the Wi-Fi Alliance and the Bluetooth Special Interest Group. There's not really any new information to be found in either filing, but we do know that the Vigor is now two steps closer to arriving on store shelves.
For those of you that'd like a nice spec refresher, the HTC Vigor is rumored to be packing a 4.3-inch 1280x720 display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 1GB RAM, 16GB storage, and Android 2.3.4 with Sense 3.5. All of that is said to be wrapped in a package that's looks a lot like the HTC ThunderBolt sans kickstand. Pretty beefy list of features, no? The most popular Vigor launch date rumor that's being kicked around is October 6th, per this leaked roadmap. Anyone saving a space in your pocket for this smartphone?
