Neither RIM nor the carriers have given us details on exactly when the BlackBerry Bold 9900 will be hitting U.S. operator shelves, but as is often the case, a leak has emerged to fill in some of the blanks. An image sent over to the folks at Phone Arena shows that the Bold 9900 could hit T-Mobile on Wednesday, August 31st. There's no mention of pricing, but the photo does show that customers can expect a $50 mail-in rebate as well as a required $20 data plan attachment when purchasing the handset.
This new August 31st launch date for the 9900 is a couple of weeks later than a previously-leaked roadmap had pegged it, but it's still exciting to know that we could finally be seeing RIM's new hotness land this month, especially since we originally saw it way back in January. The question is, are any of you planning on picking one up?
