Around a week ago, we saw a leaked Sprint document show the purported launch dates for devices like the Samsung Conquer 4G and BlackBerry Bold 9930, and today an updated version of the doc has showed up with a couple of new products in tow. First up is the Samsung M930, which is allegedly due to arrive on October 2nd. The M930 first appeared earlier this month with a Boost Mobile logo affixed on its backside, but it looks like the device will also be headed to Sprint as a replacement for the Samsung Transform.
Right beneath the M930 is the LG LS855, which those of you that've been taking your ginkgo biloba will remember is said to be the LG Optimus Black. The LS855's release date is listed as "40818." What exactly that means isn't known, but the fact that the device is slotted between the M930's October 2nd launch date and the M650's October 30th street date means that we could see the LS855 in October as well.
For those of you that'd like a spec refresher on these two devices, we're happy to oblige. The M930 is rumored to feature an HVGA display, 1GHz processor, 2-megapixel camera, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The Optimus Black, meanwhile, packs a 4-inch 480x800 NOVA display, single-core 1GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, 2-megapixel front-facing shooter, 512MB RAM, 1GB built-in storage, and Android 2.2. Neither device sounds like a slouch in the performance department, and we're especially glad to see that the M930 may be coming to Sprint to provide another option for all of the physical QWERTY addicts out there. UPDATE: As a commenter has pointed out below, working some Excel date magic on the number "40818" reveals the date October 2nd, meaning that the Optimus Black may be hitting Sprint's shelves that day. Thanks, UnNamed!
