Ready for a good old-fashioned mystery for your Sunday afternoon? A new T-Mobile roadmap for the months of July through September has been obtained by our buds at TmoNews, but there's one problem: there aren't any device names attached to the release dates on the roadmap. Thanks to the colored indicators on the roadmap as well as a previous T-Mo roadmap, though, we may be able to get an idea of what some of the products on this new document may be. The first smartphone on this roadmap will reportedly be arriving on August 17th which, according to the old roadmap, could be the BlackBerry Bold 9900. A new messaging device is due on August 24th, while a mobile broadband product will be relaunched on the 29th. Rounding out August will be a "Productivity" device and a messaging phone on the 31st. There's no mention of the BlackBerry Curve 9360 Apollo, which is rumored to be landing on the 31st as well. Perhaps T-Mobile feels that the Apollo is a productivity device and not a smartphone?
Moving on to September, we've got a prepaid product of some kind landing on September 7th. A productivity device is due one week later on the 14th, while a new smartphone will be landing on the 21st. According to the roadmap from back in May, the Nokia Panda, aka Nuron 4G, will be the handset launching on the 21st. Finally, we've got a mysterious mobile broadband device arriving on September 28th. There doesn't appear to be any mention of the Samsung Hercules, which we've heard could be launching in late September.
So there you have it. There are certainly a lot of details about this roadmap that are up in the air now, but the good news is that you T-Mobile folks out there have at least eight new device launches and one relaunch to keep you busy over the next couple of months. If you're feeling brave and want to venture a guess as to what some of the mysterious products in the above document may be, go ahead and drop it in the comments below.
