Move over T-Mobile myTouch 4G - you're being replaced by your closest sibling! The T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide (made by HTC) has made its way onto PhoneDog's Top Smartphones list, and with improved specifications like a 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 8-megapixel camera ("the most advanced camera on a smartphone," according to HTC), and Android 2.3 with a myTouch-flavored version of HTC Sense 3.0, it's ready to take the T-Mobile Android world by storm. For those that message on a regular basis, you're in luck, as it offers a physical QWERTY keyboard in addition to the usual virtual options.
Despite the killer spec sheet, the myTouch build of HTC Sense may not appeal to die-hard Android users, since it's lacking key features like customizable lockscreens and access to HTCSense.com. Those that prefer a large screen will also look elsewhere, as the 3.7-inch display is a bit on the small side. Coming in at $199.99, it joins the T-Mobile (LG) G2x and HTC Sensation 4G, so Magenta customers should be able to find an Android phone that fits their particular style.
What say you? Should the myTouch 4G Slide be number one, or is it perfect right where it is? Let me hear it in the comments below!
