Remember the Samsung Hercules? The 4.5-inch giganto-phone hasn't been in the news much since we first heard rumblings about it back in mid-May, but today it's back in the headlines courtesy of a report from our pals at TmoNews. According to to the site, the Hercules is on track for a late September launch. That echoes the claims of a previously-leaked T-Mobile roadmap which alleged that the Hercules would be landing on September 26th.
For those that need a refresher, the Hercules is rumored to be packing a 4.5-inch 480x800 Super AMOLED Plus display, 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm APQ8060 processor, 8-megapixel camera with flash and 1080p video capture, front-facing camera, 1GB RAM, 16GB ROM, NFC, 42Mbps HSPA+ support, and Android 2.3. I'd say those are pretty Herculean specs, wouldn't you? We should be learning more about the Hercules as we inch closer to September and its rumored release date, so keep your browser locked to PhoneDog for more.
