We may have just learned the launch date of the Motorola DROID 3, but if you prefer your DROID with a little more LTE and a little less QWERTY keyboard, we've got something for you too. A Motorola-made handset just passed through the FCC with both EV-DO and the same flavor of LTE that Verizon uses for its 4G network. There's not much else info to go on, but it stands to reason that this could very well be the DROID Bionic that we've been looking for.
As we've said in the past, just because a device appears in the FCC doesn't necessarily mean that its launch is near. It's worth pointing out, though, that this particular product's photos and user manual has a confidentiality period that ends on August 7th. When you couple that with the fact that Moto has promised that the Bionic will be coming this summer, it's not unreasonable to think that we may just see it (finally) launch sometime in the next month or so. Who's excited?!
