Motorola and Sprint recently launched the XPRT, a portrait QWERTY Android phone aimed at converting BlackBerry folk to the green side. It doesn't appear that the duo are done with that form factor just yet, though, as you can see in the photo. The mystery phone you see above is said to be packing Android 2.3 Gingerbread and possibly WiMAX connectivity. Outside of those two specs, though, there's not a lot of details available on the phone besides what we can glean from the image.
Whatever this device is, it looks to be more of a low-end offering kind of like the Curve is in the BlackBerry lineup. It's been suggested that this phone could be the Motorola XT316 which, if true, means it's packing a 2.8-inch 320x240 display, 600MHz processor, 3-megapixel camera, and 256MB RAM. That means we can likely expect a pretty cheap on-contract price if/when this handset launches on Sprint. Overall this phone doesn't look like anything that'll give the EVO 3D a run for its money, but hey, we're not ones to complain about getting more portrait QWERTY Android goodness.
