After what seemed like an eternity of rumors and teases, today Toshiba finally outed all of the details on its Android-powered Thrive tablet. The device will be available for pre-order beginning June 13th at Best Buy as well as other retailers and will actually launch sometime in mid-July, possibly on the 10th. As far as pricing goes, you can expect to pay $429 for the 8GB model, $479 for 16GB, or $579 for the 32GB big boy. What kind of specs will you be getting for your hard-earned cash? Glad you asked. The Thrive features a 10.1-inch 1280x800 display, Tegra 2 processor, 5-megapixel camera, 2-megapixel front-facing shooter, a removable battery that can be concealed with a variety of colorful rubberized backsides, full-sized USB and HDMI ports, an SD card slot, and Android 3.1.

Although the Thrive doesn't look very different from many of the other Android tablets on the market at first glance, it's actually got quite a few features that help it stand out from the crowd. For example, it's got regular ol' USB and HDMI ports as well as a user-replaceable battery and, at least for now, the latest and greatest version of Honeycomb. The Thrive's pricing isn't bad, either.
