Ready for your own official serving of Android 2.3 Gingerbread T-Mobile G2x owners? If a report from the folks at Android and Me is to be believed, you won't be waiting much longer. According to several of the site's "trusted tipsters," the G2x's official build of Gingerbread could begin rolling out as soon as the first half of next week.

T-Mobile has said in the past that the G2x's Android 2.3 update would be coming "by summer" and, considering that the device is one of Magenta's flagship phones, I'm sure that it's itching to get the update out as soon as possible.
