Heads up, Motorola DROID Pro owners: there are several reports floating in showing that some lucky Pro users have had their trusty handset updated to Android 2.3.3 today. The update brings Moto's new version of BLUR, also found on the DROID X2, to the DROID Pro along with all of the other treats that come with Gingerbread. You can find a quick clip of the update in action embedded below.
A Motorola employee recently declared that the DROID Pro would be updated to Android 2.3, so the fact that the update exists isn't really big news. What is interesting, though, is that it's being rolled out to at least some folks today, as the Moto worker made it sound like the update wouldn't be coming until sometime closer to the third quarter. Neither Verizon nor Motorola has mentioned the update's arrival, so if you're a DROID Pro owner and haven't already hit up "System update" to try and pull your own helping of GB down, you'd be wise to do so now just in case this is all one big accident. Have any of you DROID Pro users out there gotten a taste of Gingerbread today?
