If you're a Sprint customer in the market for a new handset, you may want to hold off on making a purchase for now. Sprint just sent out invites for an event that they'll be hosting with Motorola in New York City on Thursday, June 9th. Sprint CEO Dan Hesse and Motorola Mobility CEO Sanjay Jha will be present, and the invite says that we'll be given "hands-on demonstrations of Sprint and Motorola’s latest collaborations."
There aren't any clues as to what exactly Sprint and Moto have up their sleeves, but a recent report from Phandroid claims that a device called the "Motorola Photon 4G" could be hitting Sprint sometime in the next couple of months, so that's a possibility. The device's model number is said to be MB885 and will allegedly have a 4.3-inch qHD display, Tegra 2 processor, and WiMAX connectivity. Whatever Sprint and Motorola end up showing off on June 9th, you can be sure that we'll be bringing you all of the news as it happens, so stay tuned!
