Motorola DROID X owners, your weekend just got a whole lot better. Verizon just confirmed that the DROID X's Android 2.3 Gingerbread update will begin rolling out this Friday, May 27th. As with most updates, it'll likely be rolling out in waves, but if you just can't wait for the update to come to you, I'm sure there'll be a way to pull it down yourself after the push begins.
