So you're a U.S. Cellular customer and you're in the market for a new QWERTY-packin' Android smartphone. The recently-leaked LG Genesis is certainly an option, but there's no word yet on when it'll actually be coming to market. If you don't feel like waiting around for U.S. Cellular or LG to make that info official, a new leak has revealed that the HTC Merge will be coming to USCC on May 31st for $249.99 with a two-year contract and $100 mail-in rebate. You can check out a couple of press shots of U.S. Cellular's flavor of the Merge below.
The Merge may not boast bleeding edge specs like a huge display or Tegra 2 processor, but it'll still make for a nice addition to U.S. Cellular's lineup, especially since the only other Android phones with hardware keyboards that USCC offers are the Acclaim and Apex. So, any of you U.S. Cellular customers going to merge with a Merge (zing!) next week?
