Did your ears perk up at the news that Amazon may be prepping a pair of Android-powered tablets for release later this year? Then you'll be interested to hear PCMag's report on the two devices, which includes some new (rumored) info on both products. According to the site's sources, the dual-core Tegra 2-powered "Coyote" tablet will feature a 7-inch display and $349 price tag, while the 10-inch quad-core "Hollywood" slate will cost $449. The sources also claim that both devices will launch before this holiday season.
If true, the Amazon's pricing for both the Coyote and Hollywood is pretty competitive and, when combined with the retailer's presence in the marketplace, could really help them sell a good number of devices. I'm sure we'll be hearing more about both the 7-inch Coyote and the 10-inch Hollywood sooner rather than later, so stau tuned!
