Interested in ditching your dedicated digital camera for a smartphone that can take some quality photos? Sony Ericsson may have just the device for you, if the image above is the real deal. What you're looking at in the ultra-blurry photo is allegedly an Android-powered Cybershot smartphone being put together by the folks at SE. There's no word on what kind of specs this device is packing, but if you squint hard enough, you can kind of make out both the Cybershot branding on the face of the device as well as the standard Android Back, Home, and Menu keys.
Despite the fact that there aren't any details on what kind of features this handset packs, it's probably a safe bet to assume that when/if it launches, its camera will be one of its big selling points. That said, I'm not sure that a Cybershot Android phone will replace a user's high-end DSLR, but it could be enough for folks toting around a traditional point-and-shoot. What do you all think about this device? Could a smartphone ever replace your digital camera?
