Well folks, it looks like tomorrow may finally be the day. After months and months (and months) of leaks and rumors, the HTC Merge may finally be launching on Verizon. The folks over at Droid-Life have heard that the Verizon Merge will be made available tomorrow, but there may be a catch. By the sound of things, only third party distributors will be selling the device which, if true, means you won't be seeing it at your local Verizon corporate store.
After going months without a peep about Verizon's Merge, and then seeing both Alltel and Cellular South launch their own versions of the Merge, many had assumed that Big Red's model would simply never see the light of day. Of course, with its 800MHz core, lack of LTE, and Bing-ed up OS, some might say that we'd be better off without the Merge. Considering it's been nine months since we first learned about the device, though, I'll just be happy to finally see it hit Verizon's shelves. So, anyone planning on picking up a Verizon Merge now that it may finally be here?
