AT&T and Samsung will be making a "special announcement" in New York City tomorrow, May 5th, but that's not the only event that Sammy is planning to hold this month. Samsung just sent out invites for another press event on Tuesday, May 24th, although this time there's no mention of a carrier or some other company that will be co-hosting the gathering.

So what does Samsung have up its sleeve? Since this event doesn't have any carrier attached to it, it's entirely possible that we'll be learning details on the Galaxy S II's U.S. launch, including when it'll arrive and which operators will pick it up. Another possibility is that the new Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1 could be a part of the show. As usual, we'll keep you updated as we learn more. What would you like to see announced at Sammy's big event?
