Boy, Q2 2011 sure is shaping up to be filled with Gingerbread goodness for HTC and their products. Following reports that the ThunderBolt, DROID Incredible, and G2 could all see an update to Android 2.3 sometime between now and the end of June, another HTC representative has reportedly confirmed that the EVO 4G will also be updated before Q2 is up. The same rep also reiterated that the TBolt's 2.3 upgrade will be arriving in Q2, as well.

Considering that the EVO 4G is still one of better, and most popular, Android smartphones on the market it's not much of a surprise that HTC is planning to update it to the latest and greatest version of the OS. There's no word on exactly when the update will arrive, but you can be sure we'll let you know when we learn more.
