If you're in the market for an iPad and missed out on AT&T's iPad 1 deal last week or just didn't feel the need for a 3G-enabled model, the folks at Verizon have a deal that may interest you. Reports have been flying in that Verizon is selling the WiFi-only iPad 1 for as little as $299.99 in its brick and mortar locations. That price is for the 16GB model, but if you'd prefer a little more storage, you can nab the 32GB or 64GB version for $399.99 or $499.99, respectively.
These are all pretty awesome deals, as long as you don't mind getting an iPad 1 instead of the newer iPad 2, that is. If you're interested in a 64GB model, though, you should know that AT&T still has some WiFi + 3G iPad 1s available for $529.99 on their website as of this writing. That's only $30 more than Verizon is selling the WiFi-only model for, so unless you live in an AT&T dead zone, it may be worth considering. One last note: anyone thinking of heading to their Verizon store to pick up a new iPad on the cheap should probably call ahead, just to make sure that the store is participating in the deal and still has some devices in stock.
