Last month, Nokia announced that they would be adopting Windows Phone 7 for use on their hardware, and today the Finnish-based firm has announced that they'll soon go through another big change. Over at the Nokia Conversations blog, it's been revealed that Nokia has adopted a new font called "Nokia Pure" that'll be used on its products, packaging, advertisements, and the like in the future. They company showed off examples of the new typeface and even teased some examples of how the branding may look when it arrives on the UI of its handsets.
Normally a new font isn't something that people get excited about, but Nokia's new ads and the UI examples that were posted on their website all look pretty great. And who knows? Even though Nokia was quick to point out that the interface shots they posted aren't actually photos of upcoming products, we may end up seeing some elements of them sprinkled throughout that new UI that was teased at the tail end of last month.
