Sprint tried to capture some magic with the Kyocera Echo earlier this month, and now it appears that they've got another surprise up their sleeve. The official Sprint Twitter account (@sprint) just sent out a tweet asking its followers what they think the next new Sprint handset will be, followed by a hashtag telling everyone to "#comebackfeb24."
There's no telling exactly what Sprint has planned, but I wouldn't be surprised to see either some sort of new Android device or perhaps the HTC 7 Pro emerge on the 24th. That date also just so happens to be the day that Verizon will begin offering the Motorola XOOM, so whatever they reveal, I'm sure Sprint won't mind that they're stealing a bit of the spotlight from the tablet's debut. What do you all think that Sprint's cooking up for this Thursday?
UPDATE: Sprint has sent out another tweet with the #comebackfeb24 hashtag, this time asking users what thy would include if they could design a new phone. Sprint says that they'd use "a hub for gaming, music, pictures and video." Hub, you say? Sounds kinda like Windows Phone 7 to me.
