There have been quite a few leaks surrounding the DROID X2 as of late, and now Verizon's site is joining in on the fun, too. Some DROID X owners have logged into their accounts on Verizon's website recently, only to find their beloved 4.3-inch handset is now referred to as the "Motorola DROID X Old Version." No one is sure exactly what this means just yet, but a couple of possibilities are that Moto and VZW are planning a minor hardware revision or that the updated X that we saw a few days ago will soon be replacing the OG model.
The DROID X, while certainly still one of the better Android handsets on the market, is starting to look just a little long in the tooth, having launched way back in July of last year. This is especially true with devices like Moto's DROID Bionic and Atrix 4G on the horizon. It's tough right now to tell exactly what Big Red has up its sleeve for the X, but we'll keep you updated!
