Are you a texting addict on AT&T that wouldn't mind saving a few bucks? If a new leak is true, you'll be able to do just that with AT&T's new texting plans. According to a leaked screen from Best Buy's systems, AT&T will introduce new texting options on January 23rd that let customers choose from two plans: $10/1000 texts, $20/unlimited. There's also a $30/unlimited option for families. The carrier's current messaging plans include $5/250 texts and $15/1500.
Compared to AT&T's current texting plans, these new plans are pretty awesome deals, although it'd be nice to see unlimited family messaging plans get cut to $20 or $25. Still, this looks like a great move by ATT, if it's true, that is, and may be another perk to keep some iPhone users from switching to Verizon next month.
