The Motorola CLIQ 2 has lead a pretty quiet rumor life compared to most devices, only popping up twice since September. Today, though, a juicy bit of info about the device has popped up in the form of a possible release date. The good people over at TmoNews have heard that the CLIQ 2 could launch as soon as January 19th, and that the Streak 7 will be joining it on T-Mobile's shelves the same day. It's important to note that the source said the Jan. 19th date is tentative at this point and could change, especially with CES coming up quickly, but at least it's something.
Besides the DEFY, there hasn't really been anything even close to a high-end Moto Android phone on T-Mobile, so it'd be nice to see the CLIQ 2 arrive with some decent specs. The original CLIQ had mid-range specs when it launched, so I wouldn't be surprised to see the CLIQ 2 arrive as a mid-range device, too. As for the Streak 7, it'll be nice to have another tablet option on T-Mobile, but I'm not sure that it'll see much success considering that Honeycomb tablets are right around the corner. Are any of you looking forward to the CLIQ 2 or Streak 7?
UPDATE: Well look at what we have here. After getting a hold of photos of the Dell Streak 7, the folks at Cell Phone Signal have wrangled some images of the Motorola CLIQ 2, as well. It's got a pretty unique keyboard, and Cell Phone Signal thinks that it could come with HSPA+ capabilities, too.
