Just a few days ago, we learned that the HTC Incredible HD/Mecha could actually come to Market with the name "Thunderbolt," and thanks to HTC, we've got more evidence to support that claim today. A new ad has been spotted that's similar to HTC's "The first to 4G, again" marketing that was revealed a few days ago, but this one reveals a bit more information. Clicking on the ad takes you to a broken page, but what's important isn't the page itself, it's the URL of the page: http://www.htc.com/4G?extcid=Thunderbolt-4G-Disp.
Nothing is official just yet, but it certainly looks like HTC and Verizon will be revealing a device called the Thunderbolt or Thunderbolt 4G at CES on January 6th. It'll be interesting to see how the Thunderbolt stacks up against this mysterious Samsung device that'll also be running on Verizon's LTE network. I wouldn't be surprised to see Sammy's device next month either, so we don't have long to find out who which device is superior. Stay tuned.
