Things have been a little quiet on the Verizon iPhone rumor front lately, but a new rumor suggests that Apple is bumping up their Q1 iPhone shipment targets to include a CDMA iPhone.  According to Digitimes, Apple originally planned to ship out 19 million iPhones in the first quarter of 2011, but now has upped that goal to 20-21 million units.  This number includes 5-6 million CDMA iPhones, says the source, which will be headed to North America and the Asia Pacific region.

While there's certainly been no confirmation that a Verizon iPhone is actually coming, many expect that the device will be unveiled some time within the next few months.  I'm not completely sold on the idea that Verizon CEO Ivan Seidenberg will announce it at his CES Keynote next month, though.  The VZW iPhone may not be an entirely new device, but I can't imagine that Steve Jobs would allow someone else to reveal one of his products.  It's possible that we'll see the CDMA iPhone debut next month, and if we do, I bet that Jobs will do it on his own time, at his own event.

UPDATE: Another quick Verizon iPhone rumor for you: Skype has posted a document on their website to help users make video calls on the iPhone.  That's news in and of itself, but the potentially bigger news is that there's a Verizon logo right above the doc, causing many to believe that this is more evidence of mythical VZW iPhone.
