The HTC EVO Shift 4G, destined for Sprint's airwaves, could be the perfect handset for a lot of people. It packs Sense, a physical QWERTY, 3.7-inch display, and WiMAX capabilities all into a neat little package. Still, many of us have been waiting to see how much the EVO Shift will cost before making any commitments. Now we can finally come closer to making a decision on whether or not to pick up an EVO Shift, though, as the device, and its potential price, has been spotted in Best Buy's systems. When it launches on an as-yet-undetermined date (we're hearing early January), the EVO Shift 4G will set you back $149.99 with the usual two-year contract and mail-in rebate, or a cool $549.99 if you prefer the contract-free route.
If this leaked pricing ends up becoming real, I have a feeling that the EVO Shift 4G could carve itself a nice little spot in Sprint's lineup. With its rumored 800MHz processer, 8 megapixel camera, WiMAX capabilities, keyboard, and Android 2.2, the EVO Shift is a deal at $150, especially for those of us that want a physical QWERTY and don't feel like shelling out $250 for an Epic. So, now that just about every piece of the EVO Shift 4G puzzle has come together, what do you all think?
