Yep, the game has changed. We've listened to your questions, comments, issues, and concerns, and we've pulled the Super Bowl prize out of the game. It's all tablets now, but it's even better than that. Sweepstakes winners now get to choose between an Apple iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab, or BlackBerry Playbook. Keep reading for more information on how to win!
We'll be giving away one tablet PC per 5,000 PhoneDog Facebook page "likes." As an example, 100,000 entries would equate to 20 iPads being awarded and 250,000 entries would equate to 50 iPads to be awarded. If we reach 500,000 likes during the sweepstakes period, we'll give away 100 iPads! If you win, you get to choose between an Apple iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab, or BlackBerry Playbook!
All you have to do is accept and submit the sweepstakes entry form at http://apps.facebook.com/pdsweepstakes and "LIKE" facebook.com/phonedog and/or any of our other network sites from the time of registration through the sweepstakes period. Existing PhoneDog Facebook fans are able to enter as well - just submit the sweepstakes entry, and you're entered to win!
A total of seven (7) direct entries can be obtained immediately - one (1) for choosing your tablet prize, one (1) for liking PhoneDog's Facebook page, and one additional per partner page that you like!
The 100 iPad and Tablet Giveaway runs until January 28, 2011 at 2 PM EST/11 AM PST. Winners will be selected starting on January 17, 2011 via a live broadcast on PhoneDog's UStream broadcast page (http://bit.ly/PhoneDogLive) at 8 PM EST/5 PM PST. They'll be given out in increments of up to 10 (ten) per weekday depending on the number of entries received.

100 iPad and Tablet Giveaway - Terms and Conditions

ELIGIBILITY: The "100 iPad and Tablet Giveaway" Sweepstakes (Promotion) is open to all persons 18 years of age and older unless prohibited by law...such as those individuals residing in Belgium, Norway, Sweden, and India. PRIZES: For every 5,000 valid page LIKES and corresponding entries, one additional Tablet PC consisting of either an Apple iPad, Samsung Galaxy S Tab, or Blackberry Playbook will be added to the drawing. The randomly drawn winners will choose from a base model and WiFi version of either an Apple iPad, Samsung Galaxy S Tablet, or Blackberry Playbook. The amount of total sweepstakes LIKES and corresponding entries will determine the quantity of tablet that will be awarded. Example, 100,000 entries and LIKES would equate to a drawing of 20 tablets, 250,000 entries would equate to 50 tablets, and 500,000 entries would meet out our goal of drawing 100 tablets during the LIVE video broadcasts (http://bit.ly/PhoneDogLive)
HOW TO ENTER: Enter the sweepstakes at http://apps.facebook.com/pdsweepstakes by choosing to LIKE a minimum of one (1) of the PhoneDog Media Network pages seen on the application form (and listed below), choosing a prize, and entering the sweepstakes. Each participant will receive one entry for each PhoneDog Media Network page LIKE, along with a corresponding TICKET number for each entry. The TICKET number(s) assigned are the participants claim number that will be used to identify them as a winner (just like a lottery drawing, except the participant doesn't choose their numbers). Participants must continue to LIKE each page from the time of entry through the duration of the sweepstakes period in order to maintain their entry status and corresponding TICKET numbers. All entries received by 8pm Eastern Standard Time on each drawing day will be entered into the "100 iPad and Tablet Giveaway" sweepstakes.
UPDATE: Prior to December 18th 2010, all entries for the “100 iPad / BigGame Sweepstakes” were collected via the WildFireApp application. All entries made prior to December 18th will be combined with the current sweepstakes entries. Participants who would like to take advantage of the new sweepstakes application can enroll again and their previous entries from the WildFireApp will be deleted. The Big Game Grandprize (Superbowl) package is no longer offered.

ADDITIONAL ENTRIES: To increase your chances and lower your odds of winning, up-to twenty eight (28) additional entries can be obtained by inviting your friends using the INCREASE YOUR CHANCES tab in the sweepstakes application. The referring participant will receive one (1) additional entry for each friend that accepts the invitation and enters the sweepstakes using the invitation method. For each friend that accepts the invitation, the referring participant will receive an additional TICKET number and sweepstakes entry. Total entries can be viewed on the MY ENTRIES tab within the sweepstakes application.
PROMOTION PERIOD: From November 2nd, 2010 until January 28th, 2011 at 2PM Eastern/ 11AM Pacific Time.
DRAWING DATES: Dependent on the amount of official entries, up-to 10 tablets will be drawn starting on January 17th, 2011 at 8pm ET (Eastern Time) via a LIVE broadcast at http://bit.ly/OnePawLive. Subsequent drawings of up-to ten (10) additional tablets will be held each following night at 8pm ET Monday through Friday. Example, if we meet our goal of 500,000 entries, 10 tablets will be drawn nightly for 10 consecutive days (not including weekends) until all tablets based on valid entries have been awarded. DRAWING METHOD: Winning TICKET numbers will be randomly drawn by the services provided at Random.org. The drawings are held via a Live Webcast on our facebook page: http://bit.ly/PhoneDogLive
ODDS OF WINNING: The odds of winning a tablet prior to the 1st drawing are approximately 1/5000 and can be substantially improved by inviting friends to join the sweepstakes (Reference the Additional Entries section for more details)
INVALID ENTRIES: Winners cannot have duplicate facebook accounts and must have only (1) legitimate facebook account with a minimum of 10 friends. Any entries deemed to be fraudulent by PhoneDog Media will be invalid. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means will be void. Employees, officers, editors (and their immediate family and household members (whether or not related) of PhoneDog Media, Inc. (the "Sponsor"), and its divisions, participating vendors, participating advertising and promotion agencies and affiliated entities not eligible to participate in the "100 iPad and Tablet Giveaway" Sweepstakes" (Promotion). In the event of sabotage, acts of God, terrorism or threats thereof, computer virus or other events or causes beyond the Sponsor's control, which corrupt the integrity, administration, security or proper operation of the Promotion, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify entrants and/or modify, cancel or suspend the Promotion. OFFICIAL WINNER NOTIFICATION AND SHIPPING: Winning TICKET numbers will be posted after each drawing on phonedog.com. Winning TICKET number notifications will also be posted on the PhoneDog Media Network of facebook pages. Winners must contact us via email at claimprizes@phonedog.com within 10 days of the end of the Sweepstakes drawing, or no later than midnight eastern standard time on February 7th, 2011. Prizes will be shipped by March 1st 2011, unless supply constraints delay our ability to obtain the devices prior to March 1st. Winners are required to provide a copy of valid legal identification along with a matching Facebook profile. Inside of the United States, the prize will be shipped via FedEx ground. If the participant is a resident of a country outside of the United States, PhoneDog.com will provide a $25.00 credit for shipping. The winning participant(s) are responsible for providing us with the shipping methods of their choice to receive the prize. Participants are also responsible for any costs above the $25.00 credit provided by PhoneDog.com. The participants are the responsible party for the package once it leaves the United States.
TABLET TERMS OF SERVICE: The tablets being awarded, whether being the Apple, Samsung, or Blackberry model do not come with a monthly service plan, as the winner is awarded only the device, and not any service(s) provided by any carrier.
RELEASE: By entering the "100 iPad and Tablet Giveaway" Sweepstakes" (Promotion), participants agree, to the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, to release, discharge and hold harmless Phonedog Media (PhoneDog LLC), their affiliates, their respective owners, and representatives from any and all damages, liabilities, costs and expenses which may arise out of participation in Promotion or out of the acceptance, use, or misuse of prizes. No substitution or transfer of prizes or cash redemptions permitted by the winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute for any reason whatsoever a prize (or portion thereof) of comparable or greater value, at their sole discretion. Prize is awarded "as is" with no warranty or guarantee, either expressed or implied by the Sponsor. GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS: By entering this Promotion, participants grant PhoneDog Media (PhoneDog LLC) and their designees the right, unless prohibited by law, to use their names, cities and states of residences, voices, pictures and likenesses, without compensation, notification or approval, for the purpose of advertising and publicizing the goods and services of the Promotion Entities and all matters related to the Promotion, in any manner or medium, now or hereafter known, throughout the world in perpetuity.
