Sprint is launching a 4G-capable MiFi, possibly as soon as next month, and now it seems that T-Mobile will be joining them in the 4G hotspot fun. A leaked image sent to our friends at TmoNews reveals that Magenta is planning to launch a "4G Mobile Router" capable of 21Mbps speeds some time in March, with another router of some kind slated for release in the second quarter of 2011. Interestingly, it looks like one of the devices is codenamed Lil Wayne, which I sincerely hope it retains when it comes to market.
Considering T-Mobile has been touting its (now official) 4G network for almost a couple of months now, I'm surprised they haven't already released a 4G hotspot. They're finally getting around to it, though, and it'll be interesting to see how their prices compare to Verizon and T-Mobile. How many of you would pick up an HSPA+ mobile hotspot from T-mobile?
