Let's face it: we're all desperate to get our hands on a Nexus S, but unless you're a Google employee or know someone who does, the chance of actually doing so is pretty slim. Until the NS is actually made official and hits store shelves, we'll have to make do with random images like the one above. The photo was spotted on the Picasa stream of Erik Beans, senior software engineer at Google, and, while it's tough to tell exactly what the lady is holding, it certainly looks like a Nexus S from this angle.
There's a lot of debate going on about just what phone is in the image, but the evidence seems to point toward "Nexus S." It looks like a pretty large device in the photo, and we all know that the Nexus S fits that bill with its 4-inch screen. We've seen a side shot of the NS before, and that image looks pretty similar to the one that's above. Plus, there's the fact that the photo was posted by a Google employee that would likely have access to the device. Then again, some of us may be so anxious for the Nexus S to arrive that we're just seeing it everywhere we look. What do you all think?
