We're all expecting Samsung to unveil the Continuum at their Android-focused event on Monday, we know its specs, and we know that it's likely going to launch on November 18th. We're still missing the one piece of info that could make or break the purchasing decision for many customers, though: the price. Luckily, we don't have to wait for Monday to learn the final cost of the Continuum. An image from Verizon's system has revealed that the dual-screened Galaxy S device will cost the standard $199.99 with a two-year contract and $100 mail-in rebate. A one-year contract will set you back $269.99 with a $100 mail-in rebate, and if you avoid contracts like the plague, then you'll be forking over $579.99.
The $200 price seems appropriate for the Continuum, especially since it has a 480x800 main display, 1GHz Hummingbird processor, and other high-end features. I don't completely love the 3.4-inch size of the main screen, but that size is to be expected when there's a secondary "Ticker" display at the bottom of the phone. Samsung will be unveiling the Continuum at their event tomorrow and Adriana will be there covering it all for us. We may know almost everything there is to know about the Continuum, but you never know what Samsung could have up their sleeve. Be sure to check in tomorrow for all the coverage you need!
