T-Mobile caused quite a stir earlier this week when they decided to rebrand HSPA+ as 4G. On one hand, HSPA+ is enhanced 3G. On another hand, 4G is nothing more than a marketing term in today's world. On yet another hand (or foot, if we're being accurate), the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) says that no carrier has 4G service at the moment. Which is it?
It's a tough call, which is why I'm passing it along to you for a vote and further debate. Do you think T-Mobile's new 4G branding is misleading to customers, or does HSPA+ qualify as 4G? Cast your vote and make your case in the comments section!
