There has been a lot of buzz surrounding Motorola's upcoming Tegra 2-powered Android device, possibly codenamed Olympus, and today we've got some more information to add to the pile. According to a Motorola source speaking to Boy Genius Report, the Olympus will arrive on AT&T some time in Q1 next year. The device is said to be "the finest Android handset to hit AT&T," and is described as a 4-inch full-touch device with a display that is both "beautiful" and will "step it up in resolution."
Considering that AT&T's current Android lineup, save for the Captivate, isn't totally spectacular compared to the offerings on other carriers, a high-end Android phone from Motorola would be a very welcome addition. Adding fuel to this rumor's fire is the news that AT&T has been trying to bring in some major handsets featuring platforms other than iOS to prepare for the mythical Verizon iPhone. I don't know about you, but I think a Tegra 2-powered Android phone would be just the thing to help AT&T's no-more-iPhone-exclusivity blues.
