The AT&T Palm Pixi Plus may have taken longer than any of its webOS brethren to receive the 1.4.5 update, but all that matters is that it's finally here. Sure, the Verizon Palm devices and the Pre Plus on AT&T have been enjoying 3D gaming for almost a month now (the original Pre has had it since June); I'm sure Pixi owners on AT&T are just overjoyed to be up-to-date. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be much in the update besides the ability to install PDK apps and a couple of small bug fixes.
I'm surprised that it's taken this long for the AT&T Pixi Plus to get the call up to webOS 1.4.5 and, while the upgrade may have lost some of its sheen since all of the webOS 2.0 information has come out, at least all of Palm's phones in the U.S. are finally running the same version of the OS. Hopefully the update to 2.0 isn't quite as staggered as 1.4.5 has been. So, Pixi owners, are you excited to be able to get your Angry Birds on?
