What do we have here? It looks like the HTC Lexikon/Merge isn't the only new HTC device to leak out recently. A render of the HTC Bee has appeared on the 911sniper blog, which just so happens to be the same one that gave the world the Lexikon render last month. As a refresher, the rumored specs for the Bee include a 528 MHz processor, 3.2-inch QVGA display, 5 megapixel camera with flash, and, thankfully, Android 2.2. The same blog also leaked out the Bee's ROM, where Alltel's name makes an appearance.
Judging by the specs and the appearance of the Bee, one could surmise that the device is the CDMA version of the HTC Aria. The similarities are rather striking. The most interesting part of the leak is that the ROM says the Bee is headed for Alltel. As you may know, Alltel was acquired by Verizon in a deal that was completed in January 2009. Even after the merger, though, Alltel is still operating in 22 states. So, will Alltel be adding the Bee to its Android lineup (which seems to only consist of the Sprint Hero), or is Verizon going to be getting another Android device to call its own?
