We know Microsoft is holding a Windows Phone 7 event on Monday, but there's been little else officially revealed about the new OS. Luckily, rather than have to dig for info like we normally do, Microsoft has done the work for us. Two ads for WP7 have shown up on Microsoft's own website, one of which touts that the OS will be arriving on November 8th. We've heard that date before, so if you didn't believe it then, I'd say that this is pretty good confirmation. A similar ad, also on Microsoft's site, shows off the Samsung Focus. That name hasn't appeared before, but the handset is a dead ringer for the Samsung i917 Cetus. Another WP7 launch device confirmed? I'd say so.
Considering that we're only a couple of days away from Microsoft's big Windows Phone 7 shindig (which we'll be covering live), I'm surprised we haven't seen more devices show up on the Web. We've been waiting this long for WP7's debut, though, so I'm sure we can all wait another 48 hours or so, right? Remember, check back at 9:30 AM this Monday, October 11th, for all of the Windows Phone 7 fun. Wanna bet we'll be seeing the Focus at the event?
