Nokia's list of departing executives has become pretty lengthy over the past couple of months, and today we can add another name to the list of former Nokia execs. Ari Jaaksi, who was Nokia's Vice President of MeeGo Devices, has told Talous Sanomat that turned in his resignation last week. Fortunately, a Nokia spokesperson has said that Jaaksi's exit will not affect MeeGo's release schedule, which includes a device launch some time before the end of 2010.
While there have certainly been a number of key departures from Nokia recently, the company has made some big additions recently, too. Most notably, Stephen Elop was appointed to the position of Nokia's CEO after leaving Microsoft's business division. The MeeGo-focused portion of Nokia had its own major hire just a few weeks ago, too, giving former Palm VP of Design Peter Skillman the title of VP of MeeGo User Experience. Still, let's just hope that Nokia's bleeding of execs is finally going to end so that the company can really focus on pushing out some quality MeeGo handsets later this year and early next year.
