Perhaps the most impressive feature on the Nokia N8's spec sheet is its 12 megapixel Carl Zeiss camera. Nokia has a long history of making state-of-the-art cameraphones, but how does the N8 stack up against the current competition? Megapixels aren't everything, but can N8 deliver in terms of both pixel count and image quality?
We'll be looking into the N8's image capturing prowess in the days to come - for starters, here's a handful of photos snapped with the device this morning. All photos were captured at full 12 MP resolution using the default settings. I then imported them to my Mac via USB and resized them to 525 px wide at 72 dpi resolution (down from the original 12 MP at 300 dpi image). The images were otherwise unaltered and uncompressed.
