Remember how the HTC DROID Incredible was supposed to start sporting a Super LCD screen at the end of September? Apparently Best Buy didn't get the memo, as they've already begun selling Incredibles with the SLCD display in tow. As you can see above, the SKU on the Incredible package (ADR6300VW3) matches the one in the leaked screenshot that we saw a few days ago. Additionally, it's said that DROID Incredibles are shipping with Android 2.2 preloaded, which makes sense considering that Verizon is advertising Froyo as a feature of the Incredible on their site.
While the SLCD is said to be better for battery life (I've heard conflicting stories on the matter), it's not quite as good at presenting colors as brightly as its AMOLED cousin. However, the SLCD display is still great, and it shouldn't detract you from buying a handset like the DROID Incredible, which is still one of the best phones available on Verizon even after its release almost five months ago. If any of you pick up a new DROID Incredible with the SLCD, or have anything else to share about the "Dinc," let us know down below!
