T-Mobile has been known to introduce promotions that are radically different than the norm in the wireless industry, and today they've got a new offer that's sure to attract some new customers. Just like reported back on August 30th, T-Mobile announced the "Kids Are Free" promotion today that allows anyone with a family plan to add up to three lines to a family plan for the low price of $0. With the new offer, the first two lines of a family plan still follow standard pricing, but three more lines may be added for free, although customers must still pay activation fees and taxes. When you consider the fact that the rate plans will remain free all the way through January 1, 2012, though, the fees and taxes become negligible compared to the money you'll be saving over two years. More information can be found here.
After their Father's Day free phone extravaganza, this new promotion from T-Mobile goes to show that they are one of the best values out there. The three free lines offer ends on November 2nd, so you've got some time to gather up some friends to add to your line. Also, just for clarification, the lines that you add don't necessarily have to be for kids. The one downside to this offer is that customers on an Even More plan must extend their contract another 24 months to take advantage of the free lines. If you don't plan on leaving T-Mobile any time soon, though, this new promotion looks like an all-around great deal.
