We've seen Samsung's Galaxy Tab leaked several times in the past, and the company is set to unveil the device themselves on September 2nd. Yesterday, however, there was a model of the Galaxy Tab spotted with CDMA in tow which was rumored to be headed for Verizon Wireless. Thanks to an internal Verizon screen sent to Boy Genius Report, we can now confirm that the Galaxy Tab will be released for Verizon in the U.S. This new info also matches up nicely with a leaked Verizon roadmap that we saw back on August 9th.
We always kind of assumed that Samsung would be bringing the Galaxy Tab stateside, but it's kind of a surprise to learn that it's coming to Verizon. If you really think about it, though, it may not actually be that big of a surprise considering that Verizon seems to be the new home of Android. Now that we know what carrier will be launching the Galaxy Tab, we only have to wait a few more days until Samsung official lifts the curtain and officially announces the Galaxy Tab, hopefully along with pricing and release info along with it. Now that we know the Galaxy Tab will be calling Verizon home, are any of you planning on picking up Samsung's 7-inch wonder?
