It wasn't long ago that Verizon announced that the DROID Incredible Android 2.2 update was finally, officially rolling out to users. As with most of these updates, though, it can take some time for the upgrade to hit eager users. Luckily, the official version of Froyo can now be downloaded straight from Google and manually installed to your Incredible, ending the waiting process once and for all. You can find a download link and instructions right here. If you do decide to manually update, keep in mind that you're fiddling around with your phone at your own risk. Even though you're installing an official release, you still need to be careful!
